The Secretary of Health and Human Services may establish a Gambling Research Advisory Committee (in this section referred to as the Committee ) within the National Institutes of Health to coordinate research conducted or supported by the Department of Health and Human Services on gambling addiction. The Committee shall include representatives of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the Indian Health Service, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The Committee shall prepare, make available to the public, and submit to the Secretary of Health and Human Services an annual report on the research described in subsection (a).
