Not later than March 1, 2019, the Secretary of Defense shall— in coordination with the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, complete a review of each program, activity, and future technology research project of the Department of Defense being carried out on the International Space Station as of that date; and submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report that describes the results of the review under paragraph (1). In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology of the House of Representatives.
