Sec. 3305. City reservoir expansion pilot program

The Secretary shall establish a pilot program to expedite review of applications described in subsection (b). An application referred to in subsection
(a)is an application for a permit from the Secretary— to expand a reservoir for which not less than 80 percent of the water rights are for community drinking water supplies in order to accommodate projected water supply needs of a city with a population of less than 80,000; and from a city in which— any portion of the water resources available to the community are polluted by chemicals used at a formerly used defense site under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense that is undergoing (or is scheduled to undergo) environmental remediation under chapter 160 of title 10, United States Code; and mitigation of the pollution described in subparagraph
(A)is ongoing. The authority to carry out the pilot program under this section shall terminate on the date that is 10 years after the date of enactment of this Act.
