Sec. 3211. Maintenance of high risk flood control projects

In any case in which the Secretary has assumed, as of the date of enactment of this Act, responsibility for the maintenance of a project classified as class III under the Dam Safety Action Classification of the Corps of Engineers, the Secretary shall continue to be responsible for the maintenance of that project until the earlier of— the date on which the project is modified to reduce that risk and the Secretary determines that the project is no longer classified as class III under the Dam Safety Action Classification of the Corps of Engineers; and the date that is 15 years after the date of enactment of this Act.
