Sec. 1009. Project partnership agreements

In this section, the term project partnership agreement means an agreement between the Secretary and the non-Federal sponsor of a water resources project that describes— the project; and the responsibilities of each of the Secretary and the non-Federal sponsor with respect to cost-sharing, execution of work, and other aspects of the project. In any project partnership agreement entered into after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall ensure that the project partnership agreement includes clear and detailed descriptions of operation and maintenance, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation costs and the entity with responsibility for those costs with respect to the project.
