Section 416(a) ( 2 U.S.C. 1416(a) ) is amended to read as follows: Information relating to the filing of a claim under section 402 and the investigation of a claim under section 403 shall be confidential. Nothing in this subsection may be construed to prohibit a covered employee or an employing office from disclosing any information related to the claim (including information related to the defense of the claim) in the course of any proceeding under this title. . Section 416(b) ( 2 U.S.C. 1416(b) ) is amended by striking All mediation and inserting All information discussed or disclosed in the course of any mediation .
