Section 802 of the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act of 2014 ( Public Law 113–146 ; 38 U.S.C. 1701 note) is amended— in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1), by striking by paragraph
(3)and inserting in paragraphs
(3)and
(4); and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Beginning in fiscal year 2019, amounts remaining in the Veterans Choice Fund may be used to furnish hospital care, medical services, and extended care services to individuals pursuant to chapter 17 of title 38, United States Code, at non-Department facilities or through non-Department providers at Department facilities, including pursuant to non-Department provider programs other than the program established by section 101. Such amounts shall be available in addition to amounts available in other appropriations accounts for such purposes. ; and in subsection (d)(1), by striking to subsection (c)(3) and inserting to paragraphs
(3)and
(4)of subsection
(c).
