Out of any funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is appropriated to the Secretary of Agriculture $20,600,000, to remain available until expended, for the cost of grants for very low-income housing repair and rural housing preservation under section 504 of the Housing Act of 1949 ( 42 U.S.C. 1474 ) in a covered disaster area. Notwithstanding any limitation established by the Secretary of Agriculture under the third sentence of section 504(a) of the Housing Act of 1949 ( 42 U.S.C. 1474(a) ), the maximum amount of a grant under paragraph
(1)shall be $20,000. Out of any funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is appropriated to the Secretary of Agriculture $5,150,000, to remain available until expended, for the cost of grants and contracts under section 523(b)(1)(A) of the Housing Act of 1949 ( 42 U.S.C. 1490c(b)(1)(A) ), which shall be used to support grants made under subsection (a)(1).
