Section 103(i) ( 50 U.S.C. 1803(i)(2) ) is amended— in paragraph (2)— in subparagraph (A), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as subparagraph (C); and by inserting after subparagraph
(A)the following new subparagraph (B): shall appoint an individual who has been designated under paragraph
(1)to serve as amicus curiae to assist such court in the review of a certification under section 702(i), unless the court issues a finding that such appointment is not necessary; and ; and in paragraphs
(4)and (5), by striking paragraph (2)(A) both places it appears and inserting subparagraph
(A)or
(B)of paragraph
(2).
