In this Act: The term congressional intelligence committees means— the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate ; and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives . The term intelligence community has the meaning given that term in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3003 ).
