The Secretary shall provide to the appropriate congressional committees upon request information on security deficiencies at United States diplomatic posts, including— requests made over the previous year by United States diplomatic posts abroad for security upgrades; and significant security deficiencies at United States diplomatic posts abroad that are not operating out of a new embassy compound or new consulate compound.
