Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Judicial Conference of the United States shall— conduct a study on the necessity and desirability of amending the Federal Rules of Evidence to establish a Federal evidentiary privilege for confidential communications between a victim of human trafficking, regardless of whether the victim of human trafficking is a party to a legal action, and a caseworker assisting the victim of human trafficking; and submit to Congress a report on the study conducted under paragraph (1).
