Section 11304 of title 46, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking an official logbook, which and inserting a logbook, which may be in any form, including electronic, and ; and by inserting or a ferry, passenger vessel, or small passenger vessel (as those terms are defined in section 2101) after Canada ; and in subsection (b)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking log book and inserting logbook ; and by amending paragraph
(3)to read as follows: Each illness of or injury, the nature of the illness or injury, and any medical treatment administered. .
