Sec. 705. Education and information programs for survivors

The Secretary of Labor, in conjunction with the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Attorney General, shall coordinate and provide for a national public outreach and education campaign to raise public awareness of the workplace impact of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This campaign shall pay special attention to ensure that survivors are made aware of the existence of the following types of Federal and State workplace laws: Anti-discrimination laws that bar treating survivors differently.
Leave laws, that provide for both paid and unpaid leave, that are available for use by survivors. Unemployment insurance laws and policies that address survivor eligibility. The Secretary of Labor, in conjunction with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, shall conduct a study on the status of workplace responses to employees who experience domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking while employed, in each State and nationally, to improve the access of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking to supportive resources and economic security.
There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section, such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023.
