A summary of best practices that election campaigns for Federal offices can employ in seeking to counter such threats. An identification of any publicly available resources, including United States Government resources, for countering such threats.
A report under this subsection shall be made available as follows: In the case of a report regarding a special election held for the office of Senator or Member of the House of Representatives during 2019, not later than the date that is 60 days before the date of such special election. In the case of a report regarding an election for a Federal office during any subsequent year, not later than the date that is 1 year before the date of the election. A report under this subsection shall reflect the most current information available to the Director of National Intelligence regarding foreign counterintelligence and cybersecurity threats.
