Section 15F(e)(4) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ( 15 U.S.C. 78o–10(e)(4) ) is amended— by striking The requirements and inserting the following: The requirements ; and by adding at the end the following: The initial margin requirements imposed by rules adopted pursuant to paragraphs (2)(A)(ii) and (2)(B)(ii) shall not apply to any security-based swap in which— one counterparty is a person in which the other counterparty, directly or indirectly, holds a majority ownership interest; or a third party, directly or indirectly, holds a majority ownership interest in both counterparties. .
