Section 1003 of the 21st Century Cures Act ( Public Law 114–255 ; 42 U.S.C. 290ee–3 note) is amended in subsection (b)(3), by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: There is authorized to be appropriated, and there is appropriated, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the Account For the State Response to the Opioid Abuse Crisis $500,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023. .
