Section 1244 of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3844 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of the Algae Agriculture Act of 2018 , the Secretary shall establish and publish in the National Handbook of Conservation Practices, a national conservation practice standard for algae-based nutrient management systems. .
