Out of funds of the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is appropriated to the Administrator of the Rural Utilities Service $284,000,000 for fiscal year 2018, to remain available until expended, to provide for eligible programs and activities in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands— water or waste disposal grants under section 306(a)(2) of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1926(a)(2) ); rural water or wastewater technical assistance and training grants under section 306(a)(14) of that Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1926(a)(14) ); emergency community water assistance grants under section 306A of that Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1926a ); and solid waste management grants under section 310B(b) of that Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1932(b) ).
Out of funds of the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, there is appropriated to the Administrator of the Rural Utilities Service $250,000,000 for fiscal year 2018, to remain available until expended, to provide electric infrastructure grants for eligible programs and activities in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands under the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 ( 7 U.S.C. 901 et seq.).
