Part B of title V ( 20 U.S.C. 1102 et seq.) is amended— in section 513— by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: The activities described in
(1)through (4), (11), and
(19)of section 503(b). ; by striking paragraphs
(2)and (3); and by redesignating paragraphs
(4)through
(8)as paragraphs
(2)through (6), respectively; and in paragraph
(4)(as so redesignated), by striking Creating and all that follows through technologies, and inserting Innovative learning models and creating or improving facilities for Internet or other innovative technologies, ; and in section 514— by striking subsection
(b)and inserting the following: The Secretary may award a grant to a Hispanic-serving institution under this part for a period of 5 years. Any funds awarded under this part that are not expended or used for the purposes for which the funds were paid within 10 years following the date on which the grant was awarded shall be repaid to the Treasury. ; and by adding at the end the following: No Hispanic-serving institution that is eligible for and receives funds under this part may receive funds under part A or B of title III during the period for which funds under this part are awarded. .
