Section 612 ( 20 U.S.C. 1130–1 ) is amended— in subsection (f)(3), by inserting and a wide range of views after diverse perspectives ; and by adding at the end the following new subsection: The Secretary may approve an application for a grant if an institution, in its application, provides adequate assurances that it will comply with subsection (f)(3). The Secretary shall use the requirement of subsection (f)(3) as part of the application evaluation, review, and approval process when determining grant recipients for initial funding and continuation awards. . Part B of title VI ( 20 U.S.C. 1130 et seq.) is amended by striking sections 613 and 614.
