Section 1001 of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 7 U.S.C. 1308–3a ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in the subsection heading, by striking ; and (other than Peanuts) in the text, by striking (other than for peanuts) ; and in subsection (c), by adding at the end the following new sentence: Effective beginning with the 2019 crop year, subsection (b), rather than this subsection, shall apply to payments received as marketing loan gains or loan deficiency payments under subtitle B of title I of the Agricultural Act of 2014 for peanuts. .
