Subsection
(b)of the Competitive, Special, and Facilities Research Grant Act ( 7 U.S.C. 450i(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (2)(F)— in clause (vi), by striking and ; in clause (vii), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: barriers and bridges to entry and farm viability for young, beginning, socially disadvantaged, veteran, and immigrant farmers and ranchers, including farm succession, transition, transfer, entry, and profitability issues. ; and in paragraph (11)(A)— in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking 2018 and inserting 2023 ; and in clause (i), by striking pursuant to and inserting as defined in .
