Section 502 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5192 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in the matter preceding paragraph
(1)by striking In and inserting Subject to subsection (d), in ; and in paragraph
(1)by striking , with or without reimbursement, ; in subsection
(b)by striking Whenever and inserting Subject to subsection (d), whenever ; and by adding at the end the following: Assistance may only be provided under this section if the affected State agrees to reimburse the United States for all expenses incurred in providing such assistance. .
