Section 1062(a) of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 ( 42 U.S.C. 2000ee–1(a) ) is amended by inserting , the Director of the National Security Agency, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation after the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency . Paragraph (4)(A) of subsection
(m)of section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ( 50 U.S.C. 1881a ), as redesignated by sections 101 and 201, is amended— in clause (iii), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in clause (iv), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: a review by the privacy and civil liberties officer of the element of incidentally collected communications of known United States persons. .
