The Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 ( 12 U.S.C. 5481 et seq.) is amended— in section 1024(a)(1)— in subparagraph (C), by adding or at the end; in subparagraph (D), by striking ; or and inserting a period; and by striking subparagraph (E); and in section 1027, by adding at the end the following: The Bureau may not exercise any rulemaking, enforcement, or other authority with respect to payday loans, vehicle title loans, or other similar loans. .
