Section 2 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 101 ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(9)through
(20)as paragraphs
(10)through (21), respectively; and by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following new paragraph (9): The term homeland security enterprise means any relevant governmental or nongovernmental entity involved in homeland security, including a Federal, State, or local government official, private sector representative, academic, or other policy expert. .
