Section 1513A of the Armed Forces Retirement Home Act of 1991 ( 24 U.S.C. 413a ) is amended— in subsection (b), by striking the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, in the matter preceding paragraph (1); and in subsection (c)(4), by striking the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness and inserting the Secretary of Defense . Section 1517(e)(2) of such Act ( 24 U.S.C. 417(e)(2) ) is amended by striking the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness and inserting the Secretary of Defense .
