Section 1045(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ) is amended in the matter preceding paragraph
(1)by striking authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2017 for the Navy and inserting authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available for the Navy for fiscal year 2017 or 2018 .
