Section 303(i) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act ( 33 U.S.C. 1313(i) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)(A), by striking water quality criteria and standards and inserting the most protective water quality criteria and standards practicable ; and in paragraph (2)(A), by striking paragraph (1)(A) each place it appears and inserting paragraph
(1).
