Section 1611(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1382(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) ) is amended by striking 30 days each place it appears and inserting 15 days . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to any payment made by the Commissioner of Social Security pursuant to section 1611(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1382(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) ) (as amended by such subsection) on or after the date that is 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act.
