Section 1221(a)(3) is amended by inserting a patent, invention, model or design (whether or not patented), a secret formula or process, before a copyright . Section 1221(b) is amended by striking paragraph

(3)and redesignating paragraph

(4)as paragraph (3). Section 170(e)(1)(A) is amended by striking (determined without regard to section 1221(b)(3)) . Section 1231(b)(1)(C) is amended by inserting a patent, invention, model or design (whether or not patented), a secret formula or process, before a copyright . The amendments made by this section shall apply to dispositions after December 31, 2017.
