In this resolution: The term air-to-ground munitions means any United States bomb or missile designed as a Category IV item on the United States Munitions List pursuant to section 38(a)(1) of the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2778(a)(1) ). The term appropriate congressional committees means the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Armed Services, and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate. The term authorized sale means any sale of United States defense articles or services authorized pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2751 et seq. ).
The term designated foreign terrorist organizations means groups designated by the United States as foreign terrorist organizations pursuant to section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1189 ) or Specially Designated Global Terrorists pursuant to Executive Order 13224 ( 50 U.S.C. 1701 note). The term proposed sale means any sale notified to Congress pursuant to subsection
(b)or
(c)of section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act ( 22 U.S.C. 2776 ).
