Section 231(a) ( 20 U.S.C. 9141(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by inserting “(including new and emerging technology)” after formats ; and by striking workforce development, and digital literacy skills and inserting workforce development, economic and business development, critical thinking skills, digital literacy skills, and financial literacy skills ; and in paragraph (3)(B), by inserting , including those from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, after professionals .
