Section 408(a), as amended by section 5 and section 11, is amended by adding at the end the following: In determining eligibility for assistance under this part or any other State program funded with qualified State expenditures (as defined in section 409(a)(7)(B)(i)), a State to which a grant is made under section 403 shall exclude from income and assets any income or resources of a dependent child who is a recipient of supplemental security income benefits under title XVI. .
