Section 10(a) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act ( 15 U.S.C. 278(a) ) is amended— in the second sentence, by striking 15 members appointed by the Director, at least 10 of whom and not fewer than 9 members appointed by the Director, a majority of whom ; and in the third sentence, by striking National Bureau of Standards and inserting National Institute of Standards and Technology .
