In this Act: The term congressional homeland security committees means— the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate; the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives; the Subcommittee on Homeland Security Subcommittee of the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Subcommittee on Homeland Security Subcommittee of the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. The term Department means the Department of Homeland Security. The term Secretary means the Secretary of Homeland Security.
