The Office of Special Counsel shall design and establish a pilot program under which the Office shall conduct, during the period beginning on October 1, 2017 and ending on September 30, 2018, a survey of individuals who have filed a complaint or disclosure with the Office. The survey under subsection
(a)shall be designed for the purpose of collecting information and improving service at various stages of a review or investigation by the Office of Special Counsel. The results of the survey under subsection
(a)shall be published in the annual report of the Office of Special Counsel. During the period beginning on October 1, 2017 and ending on September 30, 2018, section 13 of the Act entitled An Act to reauthorize the Office of Special Counsel, and for other purposes , approved October 29, 1994 ( 5 U.S.C. 1212 note), shall have no force or effect.
