There is authorized to be appropriated for fiscal year 2017 for the Department of State, out of amounts appropriated or otherwise made available for assistance under chapter 5 of part II of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2301 et seq. ) (relating to international military education and training
(IMET)assistance), $15,000,000 for activities in the Asia-Pacific region in accordance with this Act.
