Sec. 3003. Maintenance of high risk flood control projects

In any case in which the Secretary is responsible, as of the date of enactment of this Act, for the maintenance of a project classified as class III under the Dam Safety Action Classification of the Corps of Engineers, the Secretary shall continue to be responsible for the maintenance until the earlier of the date that— the project is modified to reduce that risk and the Secretary determines that the project is no longer classified as class III under the Dam Safety Action Classification of the Corps of Engineers; and is 15 years after the date of enactment of this Act.
