Section 9(q) of the Small Business Act ( 15 U.S.C. 638(q) ) is amended— in the subsection heading, by inserting after and business ; technical in paragraph (1)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A)— by inserting and business before assistance services ; and by inserting assistance with product sales, intellectual property protections, market research, after technologies, ; and in subparagraph (D), by inserting , including intellectual property protections before the period at the end; and in paragraph (3)— in subparagraph (A), by striking $5,000 per year each place that term appears and inserting $6,500 per project ; in subparagraph (B), by striking $5,000 per year each place that term appears and inserting $15,000 per project ; in subparagraph (C), by inserting or business after technical ; and in subparagraph (D), by inserting or business after technical each place that term appears.
