a ) Section 924(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (2), by striking (d), (g), ; and by adding at the end the following: Whoever knowingly violates subsection

(d)or

(g)of section 922 shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both. .
