Section 129(g) of the Clean Air Act ( 42 U.S.C. 7429(g) ) is amended— by redesignating paragraphs (1), (2), (4), (5), and
(6)as paragraphs (7), (5), (1), (4), and (2), respectively; by moving the paragraphs so as to appear in alphabetical order; in paragraph
(2)(as so redesignated), by striking
(2)and all that follows through have the meanings and inserting the following: The term medical waste shall have the meaning ; and by inserting after paragraph
(5)(as so redesignated) the following: The term solid waste includes— whole, shredded, or otherwise processed tires; tire-derived fuel; hogged fuel, including fuel from wood pallets; paper; paper or cardboard recycling residuals, including— paper-derived fuel cubes; paper fines; and paper and cardboard rejects; construction and demolition debris; animal— manure; and bedding material; any plastic; non-hazardous solvents; residue from wet and dry pollution control systems; automotive shredder residue or fluff; wood, including railroad ties and utility poles, that is— creosote-treated; borate-treated; sap-stained; or otherwise treated; any material derived or processed from any material described in clauses
(i)through (xii); and any material derived or processed from municipal waste. The Administrator shall ensure that all regulations of the Administrator define the term solid waste in a manner consistent with subparagraph (A). .
