Section 2006(a)(2) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 607(a)(2) ) is amended— by redesignating subparagraphs
(E)through
(I)as subparagraphs
(F)through (J), respectively; and by inserting after subparagraph
(D)the following new subparagraph: training exercises to enhance preparedness for and response to active shooter incidents and security events at public locations; .
