Section 1303(a) of the Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 ( 6 U.S.C. 1112(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (4), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: shall require that a VIPR team deployed to an airport conduct operations in the areas to which only individuals issued security credentials have unescorted access. .
