Section 902(a) of the Counterintelligence Enhancement Act of 2002 ( 50 U.S.C. 3382 ) is amended to read as follows: There shall be a National Counterintelligence Executive who shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. The President shall make an initial appointment of the National Counterintelligence Executive under paragraph
(1)not later than one year after the date of the enactment of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016. .
