Section 243(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1253(a) ) is amended— in the matter preceding subparagraph
(A)of paragraph (1), by inserting 212(a) or before 237(a), ; and by striking paragraph (3). The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply to acts that are described in subparagraphs
(A)through
(D)of section 243(a)(1) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1253(a)(1) ) that occur on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
