Section 101(b)(1) ( 50 U.S.C. 1801(b)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (A), by inserting before the semicolon at the end the following: , irrespective of whether the person is inside the United States ; and in subparagraph (B)— by striking of such person’s presence in the United States ; and by striking such activities in the United States and inserting such activities .
