Section 721 of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 11431 ) is amended— in paragraph (2), by striking In any State and all that follows through will review and inserting In any State where compulsory residency requirements or other requirements, in laws, regulations, practices, or policies, may act as a barrier to the identification of or enrollment, attendance, or success in school of homeless children and youths, the State educational agency and local educational agencies in the State will review ; in paragraph (3), by striking alone ; and in paragraph (4), by striking challenging State student academic achievement standards and inserting challenging State academic standards .
