Section 1122 ( 20 U.S.C. 6332 ) is amended— by striking subsection
(a)and inserting the following: For each of fiscal years 2016 through 2021 (referred to in this subsection as the current fiscal year ), the Secretary shall allocate $17,000,000,000 of the amount appropriated under section 1002(a) to carry out this part (or, if the total amount appropriated for this part is equal to or less than $17,000,000,000, all of such amount) in accordance with the following: An amount equal to the amount made available to carry out section 1124 for fiscal year 2015 shall be allocated in accordance with section 1124. An amount equal to the amount made available to carry out section 1124A for fiscal year 2015 shall be allocated in accordance with section 1124A. An amount equal to 100 percent of the amount, if any, by which the amount made available under this paragraph for the current fiscal year for which the determination is made exceeds the amount available to carry out sections 1124 and 1124A for fiscal year 2001 shall be allocated in accordance with section 1125 and 1125A. For each of the current fiscal years for which the amounts appropriated under section 1002(a) to carry out this part exceed $17,000,000,000, an amount equal to such excess amount shall be allocated in accordance with section 1123. ; in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1)— by striking under this subpart and inserting under subsection (a)(1) for sections 1124, 1124A, 1125, and 1125A ; and by striking and 1125 and inserting 1125, and 1125A ; and in paragraph (2)— by inserting under subsection (a)(1) after become available ; and by striking and 1125 and inserting 1125, and 1125A ; in subsection (c)(1), by inserting and to the extent amounts under subsection (a)(1) are available after For each fiscal year ; and in subsection (d)(1), by striking under this subpart and inserting under subsection (a)(1) for sections 1124, 1124A, 1125, and 1125A .
